The City Performance Hall is a multi-disciplinary center that will bring to the Dallas Arts District a broad range of cultural performances and events by a growing group of small and midsize cultural organizations that represent all artistic disciplines and the diverse heritages of our community. Clara-Jumi Kang - Violin
Clara-Jumi Kang, a German of Korean origin, was born in Mannheim in 1987 to a musical family. In September 2010, she captured the Gold Medal of the 8th Quadrennial International Violin Competition of Indianapolis where she also won five additional special prizes and the use of the 1683 ex-Gingold Stradivari for four years. Since her triumph in Indianapolis, she has been concertizing worldwide including her Carnegie Hall Stern Auditorium debut last May.
